Denyah is a prolific singer, songwriter and screenwriter from California with a passion for romanticizing the absurd. Rather than sticking to one genre, she combines different varieties of music and lyrical tones to create an honest and cinematic experience that embraces the beauty within the mundane and overlooked. With over eleven million streams, it’s no question that many listeners have taken a shine to Denyah’s style of alt-R&B/indie pop music which has appeared on the hit Netflix show “Dear White People” as well as countless editorial streaming playlists.

Kwame Adu is a prolific artist from New Jersey. Having been based in Los Angeles for the past several years, he has made a name for himself as a creative producer, storyteller and rapper. He sometimes performs as DJ BLACK SXX and also makes up half of LA duo KWAMZAY. Drawing inspiration from his own life experiences, video games and Japanese anime, Kwame crafts powerful hip-hop music that combines introspection and humorous wordplay with life-affirming beats. With an unimpeachable catalog of solo and collaborative projects, Kwame Adu shows no signs of stopping.

ZERO CHARISMA is a distinctive voice emerging from the rich tapestry of the Bay Area’s artistic landscape. Her origin story as a queer, black, and indigenous afro-futurist fuels her work. Los Angeles based artist ZAYALLCAPS will make a special appearance at Music Festival. An incredible producer, singer and rapper by way of Sacramento, Zay’s music is a powerful testament to emotional resilience and moving forward in life. His inspiration from producers like Pi’erre Bourne, Kanye West and the Neptunes comes through in his instrumentals, which combine diverse sample sources from Bryson Tiller to Björk with tasteful synth and drum sounds. IDHAZ is a producer/vocalist transporting through dark portals to sounds of undiscovered emotion, past, future, and fractured light. He began performing poetry in 2010, and since then has become a magnetic, multi-disciplinary performance artist in the Bay Area. Combining elements of gameboy, beat machines, synth, and genre fluid vocals, IDHAZ creates visceral soundscapes to immerse into. With undeniable skill as a dancer, singer and live beatmaker, IDHAZ's dynamic performances are something to look forward to.
Raven is a genre-bending artist whose sonic landscapes transport listeners to futures where rhythm and imagination converge. Matt and NFS are known for their phenomenal selections from across the electronic spectrum. They run the CST Imprint label and beloved Oakland record store and community event space Cone Shape Top. They will be gracing West Oakland Music Festival with an all-vinyl DJ set.

Tomu DJ is an artist from California who is also me. Her work draws inspiration from classic Americana artists such as Galcher Lustwerk, The Beatles and Future. She will be doing a one-time-only special performance of her upcoming album “I Want To Be” at West Oakland Music Festival.
